uncle boo, i hope you do not mind if i "tease" you. :) i am sure you had a good trip to bintulu but,

1.passing thru the immigration in sarawak, do you still feel being "one malaysia"?

2.tiong likes to sponsor overseas trip, hmm.. :P since airasia is flying to london now, i hope you can also visit me in the netherlands someday. I will show you the other side of the netherlands, on top of the tourist hotspots.

3. did you visit km2 bintulu-miri road? not sure if suhakam have looked into their plea. what about other squatter area or the local bazaar run by natives? wanna get a taste of bintulu squatter, see http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5g7pn_bintulu-squatter_people.

4. any plan to visit miri, i am sure fong pau teck of dapmiri can show you around, i.e. lutong bazaar, senandin and etc. on top of the famous mulu cave, niah cave and palaces owned by timber tycoons.

Lastly, i hope you do not feel offended as you are matured and smart enough to see the truth from the many wrongs. unfortunately, this is not the case of your mca comrades. they cannot even differentiate between teasing and accusing. i just noticed that you are one of those who hold party post in mca, you might want to include “effective communication skills for bloggers” as part of the information technology training.

success to you, my friend.

KHENG SIONG,

chchoo, life is teasing sometime, it's good to enjoy teasing sometimes.

thanks from heart for giving me good opinion to make me growth and improved all the while.

i shouldn't say bintulu trip was a good trip, i rather to believe it was a valued experience in my life.

if i can afford or i have the opportunity, of course i wish to visit any place to see how the world is getting on.

thanks for recommended fong pau teck to me, i'm looking forward for the缘分to meet him in miri as i have been dreaming to visit mulu cave quite some times.

while i was in bintulu, i did ask the residents there about kalimantan, crazily, they tried to convince me that sarawak has been far better than kalimantan even though with such poor facilities especially in long house area.

i had once visited to a small village call Dumai in Sumatra when i was a reporter with nanyang siang pau, it was really an unforgotable experience as i have seen some people was selling "water for bath" at the road side.

i felt sad too when i interview most people working in the tourist area such as Bali and Lake Toba, and found they only earned less than 30 ringgit monthly income.

a young ice cream seller told me, he never know the taste of ice cream as it has been too extravagance to them, for just one stick of ice cream may equally their half month salary.

with that experience, here are my sharing on your question:

1. one malaysia for me, just like what my wife always reminded me: "don't just say you love me, prove me."

2. is "tiong" you mean teong king sing? i go to long house with his service team in fact. i heard he owned 2 private jets. i don't mind if i have that pleasant to fly london with his private jet if he allowed. ha ha, of course i don't think this will come true. if i can afford to go europe, sure will contact you to be my tour guide in netherland.

3. i did not see much in bintulu in that short stay, thanks for your info.

4. as i have said before, mulu cave is one of my dreaming place, hopefully to be there and meet fong soon.

once again, thank for your comment and thousand apologized for my late reply due to my busy working schedule.

Uncle Boo, I have more friends in SUPP than in DAP. In fact, I do not know Pau Teck in person. I only know him via his blog articles and his Taiwanese-flavoured campaign. He has inspired a number of Mirians, raised the political awareness and earned some respects among the locals, and is gaining popularity by day. Even though Miri City Council was well governed by Mayor Wee (now Mayor Lawrence Lai), I am afraid there is no easy winner for SUPP come next election.

I am sure Pau Teck cannot afford a VIP trip for MCA bloggers, nor dinner at expensive restaurant or even a Toyota Land Cruiser to show you around (as he is still raising fund). However, he should be able to share with you the many problems faced by our native friends in Borneo.

My son asked me why we want to keep the Panda in the zoo after watching Animal Planet, I told him because we human like to think that keeping them in captivity will prevent them from extinction. However, the truth is we never ask Panda if they prefer to stay in the zoo or in the wild.

choo, to earn a real friendship is more important than to earn just an expensive dinner. We a group of MCA bloggers did invite TIAN CHUA from PKR to have dinner together and invite TENG CHANG CHING from DAP for lunch early this year.

We insisted not allow them to pay for the meal but we paid for them, just to show our sincerity, respects and appreciation for spending time with us and sharing.

Cheating for eat (lau chiak) is not our way.

If I visit Fong in Miri or visit you in Holland one day, to have Fong or you be my tour guide will make me proud, I don't mind to pay for the dinner and bring along my own wine.
